Description

A green pigment found in all plants which is vital to the photosynthesis process (allows plant to get energy from light). Often derived from grass and used as a food coloring. Sodium Copper Chlorphyllin is a green to black powder made from alfalfa. It is chemically processed with sodium and/or copper and a solvent (acetone, ethanol or hexane).
