Sea salt is made from evaporated seawater that contains minerals in addition to sodium and chloride. Different minerals are used to give different varieties of sea salt unique taste.
Sea salt is currently added to foods that are considered gourmet.
Possible Health Effects
Too much salt is said to lead to high blood pressure and an increased risk for heart disease. Too little salt could potentially lead to dizziness, muscle cramps, and electrolyte imbalance.
