Possible Health Effects

Believed to be safe in food when used in low levels. People with kidney or heart disease may wish to avoid or limit their intake and be aware that consuming multiple food stuff with this ingredient leads to an overall higher ingestion of the ingredient. Additionally, from the 1977 INCHEM report LINK NAME, they were interestingly aware that the link between increased brain aluminum and Alzheimer's disease had not been adequately studied.
